Diagnostics & Radiology

Advanced imaging and laboratory services with rapid reporting.

Reliable diagnostics underpin every other clinical decision in the hospital. Our radiology and laboratory services are designed for speed and accuracy: most routine reports are turned around the same day, and emergency studies are read immediately.

The 96-slice Philips cardiac CT supports cardiac CT angiography, neuro-imaging and whole-body studies at low radiation dose. The C-Arm DSA suite is shared with the neuro and vascular interventional teams for both diagnosis and image-guided treatment. The laboratory runs SIEMENS automated analysers for biochemistry, hematology and microbiology, with 24/7 emergency processing.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment for a CT scan or blood test?
For most outpatient studies an appointment is preferred so we can plan around your prep requirements. Emergency and inpatient studies are done as needed without appointments. Call 040-4149 9999 to schedule.
How long does it take to get my report?
Routine radiology reports are typically available the same day. Routine lab reports are usually ready in 4–24 hours depending on the test. Emergency reports are read and shared immediately.
Do I need to fast before a CT scan?
It depends on whether contrast is being used. For contrast studies, we usually ask for a 4-hour fast. Plain (non-contrast) CT generally does not require fasting. Our team will give you the exact preparation instructions when you book.
Can I bring outside scans for a second opinion?
Yes — please bring the films/CDs and the original report. Our radiologists are happy to review prior imaging as part of a clinical consultation.
